Apocalipse NOW
The ingredients of Florin Pantilimon's works are
similar to an explosive spices mix where criticism/self-criticism,
irony/self-irony, bizarre, occult,
experiment, humour, obscene, mask, vulgar,
perversity, hyper-sensibility and sin tangled like an ivy around the body of human dignity and pride
about himself in particular, and about humanity in
general.
He is leveling this dignity to the ground, with an
attitude of aversion but also with a modest-ironic
acceptance. The artist thinks that there is no way out
but still the world and life are for sure the best ones
from what is possible.
Florin Pantilimon will use a series of self-portraits
full of grey substance and cruel meditation.
